**Job Summary**

This role is critical for optimizing financial performance, revenue cycle management, and resource allocation to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Financial Planning & Reporting**:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Develop and present comprehensive financial reports, performance analyses, and actionable insights to the Senior Management and Board.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to create robust and cost-effective budgets.
- Manage financial forecasts, variance analysis, and monitoring of departmental expenditures to ensure adherence to budget limits.
- **Revenue Cycle Management**:

- Manage the full revenue cycle, including billing, collections, and liaison with major insurance providers and government entities in Qatar.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and improve collection efficiency, particularly relating to patient and insurer payments.
- **Compliance & Audit**:

- Ensure strict compliance with all local Qatari laws, tax regulations, and healthcare financial reporting requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for all external and internal audits, managing all required documentation and controls.
- **Treasury & Risk Management**:

- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment activities to ensure optimal liquidity and financial stability.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency and operational risks specific to the healthcare sector.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance and Accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MFin) is highly desirable.
- **Certification**: Professional certification is **essential** (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent).
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of **8-10 years** of progressive experience in finance, with at least **4 years** in a managerial capacity.
- Proven experience working within the **Healthcare, Medical, or Hospital sector** is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience in the **GCC region, particularly Qatar**, is highly preferred, demonstrating knowledge of local business practices and regulations.
- **Skills**:

- Expert proficiency in IFRS and advanced financial modeling and analysis techniques.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or specialized healthcare systems).
- Fluency in English is required; professional proficiency in **Arabic** is a significant asset.
