**IT Solution Architect**

Role purpose:
The IT Solution Architect is responsible for the design and development of the information technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan.

**Key accountabilities and decision ownership**
- Facilitate discussions with both business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a technical vision & solution that meet project needs.
- Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment
- Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**
- Expertise in BSS/OSS solution design in an Operating Company.
- Experience in vendor selection through RFPs/RFQs for IT implementations.
- Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to design information systems to delivery that strategy
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts and solutions to different stakeholders.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills.

**Technical / professional qualifications**:

- Over 10 years of IT Industry experience - strong technical understanding of the telecom systems, architecture, and solutions.
- A minimum of 5 years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect or consultancy at system integrator.
- Able to define and document high-level solution and system architectures and explain how various components of the architecture will interact.
- Able to estimate the level of effort and duration for entire projects
- Experience of developing Services Orientated Architectures (SOA)
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR20,000.00 per month
