Barista Roaster

Please note that this role is not for a barista only, this role will be in a roastery and will be involved externally.

I will be requiring someone that has the full knowledge and understanding in Coffee and what is the coffee. Abilities in explaining in depth about the coffee, understand how to sell the coffee. Minimum of 4 years as barista on Qatar.

This Job will be involved in daily catch up with clients, creating relation with other coffee shops, sending out coffee to other clients, receiving and accepting feedback from clients. Weekly reporting on the clients feed back.

Head barista

Has experience at least 2 years in preparing coffee

Well knowledge in coffee

Requirements and skills

Responsible to package coffee bags

And operate and set up any coffee related cupping

Overall, in-charge in day-to-day operations.

Ensure all drinks are made and served to brand standard

Evaluate and study new shipment of coffee beans.

To sell & demonstrate product knowledge by advising the customer/answering queries & suggesting products to the customer as part of the ordering process. Act on initiative to optimize sales to the customer.

Greet customers as they enter

Sells coffees, coffees grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.

Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)

Keep the bar area clean

Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates

Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.

Comply with health and safety regulations

Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items.

Previous work experience as a Barista.

Hands-on experience with brewing equipment

Knowledge of sanitation regulations

Basic math skills

Ability to gauge customers’ preferences

Excellent communication skills

High school diploma.

Preparing, packaging coffee.

Employer must be available in Qatar and can transfer Visa.

**Salary**: QAR3,800.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- barista: 4 years (preferred)
- roaster: 4 years (preferred)
