Work with business leaders to solve business problems through the adoption of technology, building an IT Modernization Roadmap to the future
- Understand the technical risks associated with each aspect of the service and/or project and ensure these are mitigated in the design
- Liaise with 3rd Party suppliers and other partners when and where required to meet customer requirements.
- Capture requirements from multiple stakeholders (business, IT support areas, legal) and interact with other cross-functional teams to provide migration strategy: architect, design, develop, test, and release planning

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Experience in public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
- Good understanding of Virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Redhat KVM and Oracle KVM
- Good understanding of hardware technologies such as Hyper-converged and converged infrastructure technologies, Storage technologies and backup technologies
- Fully understand standard architecture methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Demonstrate experience in portfolio analysis and discovery using tools to drive the needed analysis
- Proven track record in developing and advising clients on Application Modernization roadmaps
- Experience in delivering Application Modernization using Public Cloud Technologies; DevOps, Integration, Containerization and Container Management, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker Enterprise and Cloud Foundry
- Knowledge of Agile practices and governance
- Modelling cloud infrastructure (Azure VNets, NSGs, App Gateways, Backend pools, Certificate Management)
- Experience with digital transformation technical domains
- Experience in database migration and modernization; Data Transformation
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT equivalent degree
- 8+ years practical hands-on experience, with minimum 5 years as Cloud Architect
- Certification in Cloud Platforms (Microsoft Azure architecture, Oracle OCI Architecture) is a preferred
- Must have a detailed and analytical approach with hands-on experience and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written/oral communications skills are essential
- Languages
- A bilingual (English/ Arabic) Architect is preferred
