Campus Head

The Campus Head is required to work 80% of the time within school premises with students, teachers and other staff members from Sunday to Thursday. She/he is required to be emotionally strong and be able to maintain a healthy learning and working environment. The position holder is also required to travel for attending management meetings, external workshops or meetings with external stakeholders.
The Campus Head needs to manage her time effectively and efficiently to plan, implement and monitor yearly curriculum, and learning goals, staff’s professional development needs and to meet strategic challenges on the campus.
- To develop an engaging curriculum that continually evolves as the school grows and which upholds the core underlying principles of the school and meets national standards.
- Demonstrates a high level of relevant curriculum knowledge and keeps up-to-date with routine changes in the IGCSE curriculum and other related curricula.
- Designs and implements educational and curricular plans and interventions that express the expected targets of students.

- Models school values and policies; leads by example to uphold the vision and values of the school, operating at all times within the stated policies and practices of the school

- Focuses on using resources in strategic ways for maximum impact on student learning

- Develops a system of monitoring and evaluation that encourages a whole school ethos of mutual support and continual improvement and supports the Principal in the compilation of the self-evaluation, documentation and school improvement planning
- Develops and leads monitoring, assessment and intervention programmes for students’ progress that raise student achievement and enable the school to meet or exceed its target performance.

- Participates in leadership, peer, and self-monitoring and evaluation schemes
