**Bio-Medical Engineer**

**Nature & Scope of position**:

- Provide maintenance services for dental, medical and Lab equipment to include receipt, preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, inventory control, and approved modification as well as computer systems, and dental, medical and Lab software
- Providing Technical specifications preparation for newly acquiring Dental, medical and Lab equipment/instruments before purchasing.
- Providing the Tender equipment evaluations for the equipment coordinating with end users and other concerned users.
- Receives the equipment. Inspects and documents equipment identification data
- Labels equipment with appropriate numerical tags.
- Evaluate and assess performance of dental, medical, and lab device demonstrations
- Coordinate and supervise manufacturer engineers for any equipment Service Contract for PMs, Breakdowns, warranty repairs and annual calibrations.
- Attend to all of the Corrective maintenance calls or requests at anytime
- Analyzes and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions utilizing electronic schematics, diagnostic testing equipment, and manufacturer's technical literature. Identifies faulty circuits, systems, and parts.
- Spare parts ordering as per manufacturer's technical instructions, stock updates verifications, Biomedical Test tools and test equipment. Periodic calibration works coordination with certified agencies and keep update documentation
- Prepare equipment documentation and coordination works with dental, medical Lab Management for any accreditation purposes like ISO
- Monitor and control of maintenance / repair work orders, installations, equipment inventories, Evaluations and Condemnations using the medical, dental and QTRI management system or policies.
- Frequently works in research and development
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance
- Experience in dental simulation units/ dental Virtual reality trainers, digital dentistry workflow and related technologies such as intra-oral scanners and desktop scanners, CAD, modeling, 3D printing/milling, and digital x ray as applicable to biomedical equipment support systems
- May operate and maintain audio/visual equipment.

- Perform pre-issue and asset accounting, equipment installation and de-installation of related equipment as needed
- performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance and electrical safety tests of biomedical equipment where applicable to maintain code compliance
- Administrative controls: complete applicable documentation of all work performed in a timely manner

**Key Performance Indicators (KPls)**:

- All service requests have been complete within the proper time. o
- PPM been completed on time to the schedule o PPM report, breakdown service report, QA report signed by user.
- Safety and performance test been completed on equipment maintained

**Experience and Education**:

- Bachelor or diploma in bio medical engineering; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal is mandatory
- Proficiency in Arabic, both written and verbal

Pay: From QAR10,000.00 per month
