**Document Controller**
**Job Purpose**:
The Document Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing the documentation processes within an organization. This includes maintaining, organizing, and ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of documents related to projects, contracts, or operations.
**Qualifications**:
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a document controller or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in document management systems and software.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and maintain an organized filing system for project documentation (e.g., contracts, specifications, drawings, reports).
- Ensure that all documents are properly categorized and accessible to authorized personnel.
- Track and log incoming and outgoing documents and ensure proper distribution.
- Control the flow of documentation in both physical and digital formats.
- Review documents for accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Ensure document versions are updated, and obsolete versions are archived or discarded.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure document submission and approval processes are followed.
- Maintain records of document revisions and approvals.
- Coordinate the safe storage and disposal of documents when required.
