The **Quality Engineer** is responsible for development and upkeep of all quality processes in the plant. Their function is to develop robust quality systems in conjunction with the Process and Production Engineers that ensure all products produced or procured are done so and checked in accordance with our quality systems and any specific product specifications.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Work with and support other plant engineers to implement, monitor, and improve all plant processes and systems.
- Run structured problem-solving events to evaluate and trouble shoot low yield processes.
- Teach other team members the use of LEAN/Six SIGMA tools such as DMAIC, 5 Why, Root Cause Analysis, Ishikawa, 6M, FMEA to reach structured conclusions.
- Support the introduction of new products, projects and processes from a quality perspective.
- Complete and issue NCR’s/CAR’s as required.
- Ensure all quality records and systems are accurate, follow procedure/standard and are up to date.
- Advise relevant stake holders of quality concerns in a formal timely manner so the appropriate action can be taken.
- Ensure incoming materials adhere to proper quality standards.
- Support LEAN and CI projects and culture throughout the plant.
- As part of handover of new products/processes deliver ISO procedures and Work Instructions and conduct in-house training and competency checks for all relevant plant staff.
- Ensure processes and resources are capable to deliver the plant KPI’s.
- Promote a Quality and Health & Safety driven culture throughout the plant through the development and implementation of robust processes and systems in line with ISO 9001 & ISO 45001.

**Qualifications**
- BS degree in Quality Engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience in a GMP or process driven manufacturing industry.
- Must have Automobile Manufacturing Industry experience.
- Experience in Middle east or Gulf Region preferred.
- Strong sense of commercial awareness and project targets.
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite & MS Project.
- Ability to read and decipher technical drawings.
- Strong working knowledge of quality software.
