Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and mechanical equipment in facilities.
- Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g., heating units, air conditioning units, ventilation systems) to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prolong the life of HVAC systems and prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot HVAC and mechanical issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Respond promptly to HVAC and mechanical emergencies and resolve them efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors as needed for HVAC and mechanical projects.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in HVAC systems or mechanical technology preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or mechanical technician in facilities management.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and their components.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques for HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and conditions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well independently and in a team.
