**Job Title**: Head Barista

**Job Overview**:
As a Head Barista, you will oversee the daily operations of the coffee bar, ensuring top-quality coffee service and customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of baristas, manage inventory, ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff. You will be responsible for training new staff, troubleshooting equipment issues, and handling cash transactions. The Head Barista ensures the smooth and efficient running of the coffee shop while upholding the highest standards of service and product quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership & Team Management**:

- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of baristas.
- Train new employees on coffee preparation, customer service, and safety procedures.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels.
- **Customer Service**:

- Ensure an exceptional customer experience through excellent service.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Foster a positive atmosphere for customers and staff.
- **Coffee Quality & Preparation**:

- Oversee the preparation of coffee and espresso drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Troubleshoot and maintain coffee equipment (e.g., espresso machines, grinders).
- **Inventory Management**:

- Manage stock levels, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Place orders and track deliveries to ensure an adequate supply of products.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations in food preparation, sanitation, and machine operation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and equipment.
- **Cash Handling & POS**:

- Process customer transactions accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Balance the till and handle cash at the beginning or end of shifts.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain records of sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Assist in implementing promotional activities or events.
- **Maintain Shop Environment**:

- Ensure the shop’s ambiance and cleanliness align with company standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a barista, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing methods.
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling.

Pay: QAR3,500.00 per month
