**Job Title**: Auto Mechanic

**Job Purpose**:
The Auto Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. The role involves working on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems, ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and battery checks.
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and belts.
- Conduct full engine overhauls and transmission repairs when necessary.
- Ensure that all repair and maintenance work is carried out in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and update job cards for all work performed.
- Collaborate with parts department to ensure the availability of needed spare parts.
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep the work area clean and organized; follow all safety procedures and practices.
- Provide technical guidance to junior mechanics or helpers when required.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or technical certification in automotive repair.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electronic diagnostics.
- Familiarity with modern tools, equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service charts.
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: Up to QAR2,000.00 per month
