Structural Draughtsman

Prepare detailed drawings of structural components and systems
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to refine design concepts
- Ensure all drawings comply with building codes and regulations
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project managers
- Create 3D models of structures using CAD software
- Calculate dimensions, weights, and stresses of various materials
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building materials and construction methods
- Perform site visits to gather data and verify measurements
- Update project documentation as changes are made
- Provide assistance in the preparation of project estimates and schedules
- Ensure proper document management and filing of all blueprints and plans
- Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to clarify design details
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Certification in CAD software
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Previous experience in a structural drafting role
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
- Good spatial awareness and an eye for detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Solid understanding of construction and building codes
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of materials and construction methods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
