**Senior CAD Technician - Doha (Oil & Gas Project)**

**Salary**: QAR 6,500 (All-inclusive package)
**Working Days**: Sunday to Thursday
**Working Hours**: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

**Contract Duration**: 06 Months Extendable

**About the Company**

One of our clients, a leading multinational engineering company engaged in major **Oil & Gas projects**, is urgently looking to hire a **Senior CAD Technician** to join their dynamic team in Doha. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a world-class engineering environment with strong technical exposure and growth potential.

**Position: Senior CAD TechnicianJob Purpose**

As a Senior CAD Technician, you will transform rough design concepts into high-quality engineering drawings using CAD software. You will prepare comprehensive construction plans, review and check drawings prepared by drafting technicians, and support engineering teams with technical drafting services. )

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze and adhere to project CAD standards.
- Deliver all drawings required for submission and project handover.
- Prepare accurate engineering CAD drawings from sketches/markups.
- Produce field sketches as needed.
- Support development of drawing management procedures, including revision control, naming, and storage.
- Draft complex electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical services layouts.
- Coordinate with engineers and team members to resolve drawing ambiguities.
- Work across different drawing/model formats.
- Perform self-checks and review work of junior drafting staff to minimize rework.
- Configure and operate plotters; prepare plot files and print drawings.
- Participate in technical and project meetings as required.
- Maintain and enhance technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the company.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Diploma in Engineering Technology (any discipline) **or** relevant trade certification (ITI).
- Proficiency in 2D drawing development using **AutoCAD**, **MicroStation**, **SmartSketch**, or similar tools.
- Experience with 3D model-based drawing production is an advantage.
- 5-7 years of relevant drafting experience, including at least 2 years in a lead role supervising other draftsmen.

- Familiarity with Oil & Gas project environments is highly preferred.
