The Role
Maintenance Planner Specialist - Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a transport consultant operating out of Qatar. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner Specialist with particular experience in public transport to join their team in Doha. RESPONSIBILITIES - Developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies for a public transport fleet and facilities - Utilising SAP plant and dealership modules for maintenance planning and execution - Creating and maintaining asset hierarchies for streamlining the maintenance management of vehicles and infrastructure - Managing the Bills of Materials (BOMs) for both preventive and corrective maintenance of transport assets - Developing and optimising maintenance schedules to minimise service disruptions - Coordinating maintenance activities with transport operators and technicians - Prioritising tasks based on vehicle/equipment criticality and operational needs - Analysing maintenance data to improve efficiency and reduce vehicle downtime - Ensuring compliance with transport safety regulations and industry standards
**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable experience in maintenance planning, preferably in public transport or similar industries - Expertise in SAP plant maintenance and dealership modules - Strong understanding of maintenance strategies for transport fleets and infrastructure - Proficient in creating and managing asset hierarchies for complex transport systems - Strong knowledge of public transport vehicles, equipment, and facility maintenance needs - Experience in developing and maintaining BOMs for preventative and corrective maintenance - Excellent organisational, communication, and presentation skills
