**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT**is looking for **Electrical Commissioning Supervisor**in **Doha-Qatar**

**Project Duration**: 6 Months Extendable

**Project Site Location**:Ras Laffan

**Qualification**:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

**Years of experience**:7-10 years of experience in electrical commissioning within the oil & gas sector-(upstream, midstream, or downstream)

1) Lead and manage the electrical commissioning team during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases of oil & gas facilities (onshore or offshore).

2) Ensure all electrical systems (HV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, lighting, cathodic protection, etc.) are functionally tested and meet operational and safety standards.

3) Develop, review, and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists in coordination with engineering and operations teams.

4) Perform and witness loop checks, insulation resistance testing, functional testing, and energization of equipment.

5) supervise subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with project scope and technical specifications.

6) Coordinate with instrumentation, mechanical, process, and control teams for system integration and inter-discipline testing.

7) Manage commissioning documentation, redlines, test reports, and punch lists.

8) Participate in system walkdowns, completions, handover, and final acceptance processes.

9) Enforce safe work practices, electrical safety procedures (LOTO, arc flash, grounding), and permit-to-work systems.

10) Liaise with clients, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure commissioning activities meet company and regulatory standards.

11) Provide daily reports on commissioning progress, issues, and resource needs.
