The **Missile/PGM Supervisor** inspects, maintains, assembles, disassembles, repairs and tests assigned PGM assets, associated components, training items, support equipment and containers IAW DAFMAN 21-201 and pertinent technical data.
Will carry out duties as required per the Site Munitions Superintendent or equivalent level of authority. Oversees PGM section members and is accountable for all Site PGM operations. Operates Theater Integrated Combat Munitions system (TICMS). Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
**Principal Accountabilities**
- Manage all assigned personnel and resources for the safe, efficient maintenance of the GPMS missile stockpile.
- Consistently observes and enforces all USAF and host nation explosives safety, AFOSH and security standards during all explosives and non-explosives operations.
- Ensures pre-task safety crew briefings are accomplished before the start of any munition's operation.
- Evaluates PGM operations; initiate actions to correct deficiencies, terminate unsafe operations, report discrepancies and conduct qualification training as required.
- Provides proper security, storage and operator maintenance of assigned equipment.
- Reviews and completes applicable munitions documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Reports progress of PGM operations to Munitions Control and coordinate changes in schedules work plans with supervisors.
- Executes a daily preventive maintenance program to ensure assigned munitions equipment and facility serviceability.
- Reports to applicable agencies the removal of unsafe/inoperable equipment and vehicle from service.
- Ensures personnel are task qualified and coordinates training requirements with the training supervisor.
- Takes necessary control and provides timely response actions during emergency events.
- Maintains proficiency to operate diversified electronic test equipment and PMEL calibrated tools.
- Conducts all PGM work with established quality processes, identifies potential problems and recommends solutions.
- Inspects and tests PGM assets and associated components at required technical data intervals.
- Supervises/performs organizational and intermediate level, to include reconstitution, Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) actions on electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical missile/PGM systems, including associated support equipment.
- Supervises/prepares assets for redistribution to theater and/or retrograde to CONUS, to include completion of required documentation.
- Inspects PGM assets in accordance with USAF surveillance inspection program IAW 11A-1-10 and applicable technical orders.
- Updates all applicable Munitions Information Systems (MISs) as applicable to Element processes and authorized access rights.
- Inspects, operates and performs maintenance on vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hoists.
- Inspects and operates strapping equipment, stencil machines, heat sealers, pneumatic paint guns, air/power tools, etc.
- Inspects and performs minor maintenance on facilities and installed equipment.
- Performs entry-controller duties as required.
- Interfaces and coordinates between Crew Members and Section Supervisors.
- Works necessary hours to include stand-by duties to support mission requirements during peacetime and combat contingencies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Must have expert level knowledge of the USAF Supply and Tech Order systems or US service equivalent.
- Must have intermediate level knowledge of current MIS applicable to PGM activities.
- Must be proficient at resolving conflicts.
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.
- May be required to operate material handling equipment.
- Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a minimum eight years Air Force munitions experience of US service equivalent.
- Must have a minimum four years Air Force munitions management experience or US service equivalent.
- Must have a minimum four years Air Force PGM/Missile experience or US service equivalent.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
- Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.
- Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Must have normal color perception and depth of vision.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Preferred CCAF degree in Munitions Management.
