**Job Summary**:
Responsible for creating electrical wiring, layout drawings and schematic diagrams for electrical devices.

**Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)**:

- Draft working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection or cross-sections of underground cables, as required for instructions.
- Assemble documentation packages and produce drawing sets which are then checked by an engineer.
- Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design details.
- Check dimensions of materials to be used.
- Prepare Kahramaa and QCCD document.
- Draw master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions.
- Create visual guidelines for construction purposes.
- Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings.
- Create and store drawings electronically.
- Prepare drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary.
- Confer with engineering staff and other personnel to resolve problems.
- Supervise and train other technologists, technicians and drafters.
- Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits.
- Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the business development & tenders management activities when requested.

**Education & Experience**:

- Diploma/Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of experience
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling skills for electrical systems.
- Auto Cad/Revit proficiency.

**Required Skills**:

- Knowledge of engineering principles, as well as general knowledge of generating facilities, power substations and protection and control schemes.
- Design skills, including the development of detail design drawings from engineering guidelines and sketches.
- Able to interface with electrical engineering and manufacturing on specific project assignments.
- Innovative self-starter, able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and resolve internal and external customer issues which may be critical, sensitive, moderately complex, or urgent in nature.
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem solving mentality.

**Salary**: QAR5.00 - QAR10.00 per month
