**PRIMARY PURPOSE**:
Supervise and establish technical requirements and advice as the technical authority for all QA/QC activities of Dolphin Energy Upstream activities in the field of quality control and quality assurance for the Technical Services Unit as well as to the third-party inspection vendor/contractor.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and maintain the quality management plan as part of the asset integrity operations of Dolphin Energy Qatar.
- Manage and administer Quality Control & Inspection call off Contracts. Ensure compliance for certification requirements.
- Provide Inspection requirements for non-stock procurement through developing and supervising storage and preservation and packing of stored equipment.
- Prepare, Update and implement all QA/QC procedure and strategies for all upstream operations QA/QC activities.
- Establish and report Top monthly integrity QA/QC KPI required and drive action on NCR quality audit.
- Follow up regular reporting of integrity compliance and trace NCR (non-conformance) actions for close out and improvements in integrity QA/Qc records. Proposing for TSD management vendors to be blacklisted based on their poor-quality audit results.
- Review Material Requisition for new & engineered materials for scope of Inspection & based on criticality rating and vendor inspection level, suggest changes in line with COMPANY requirements Review Criticality Rating for Engineering Items and assign Inspection Level prior to procurement of new Items. Post PO, vendor performance to be monitored and elevate the Inspection Level if required to maintain Quality Standards.
- Participate in the setup of procurement, inspection and maintenance strategies, & management systems, in line with the pillars of asset integrity & total cost of ownership.
- Monitor, evaluate and recommend trends, developments, and best practices within the surrounding industry, in order to add value to Dolphin Energy’s business by disseminating the latest technical knowledge.
- Review and develop the welding procedure specification, procedure qualification records for newly welding/repair of new critical equipment, structure and process piping, resolve emerging welding related failure,. Provide recommendations on choice of repair procedures, selection of materials, fabrication of new static assets in compliance with applicable code of construction, API codes, etc., in accordance with Dolphin Energy’s policy.

**Minimum Educational Requirements / Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline

Additional technical or management qualifications or certification related to onshore and offshore construction would be an advantage.

**Minimum Experience**:
8 years’ relevant experience in inspection activities within the oil and gas industry.
