**Job Overview**

The Laboratory Technologist is responsible for undertaking a variety of technical laboratory procedures. The main responsibilities including analyzing samples, conducting tests and reporting results.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Collecting, labeling, and analyzing samples using the correct testing equipment.
- Designing and performing laboratory testing according to the standard testing procedures.
- Recording all experimental data and test results accurately.
- Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
- Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
- Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
- Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
- Ordering laboratory supplies.
- Providing technical support.
- Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
- Adopting safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations in the State of Qatar.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology
- Must have a QCHP license as a Laboratory Technologist
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of total experience
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent physical condition and endurance
- Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
