IT Specialist

We are reputed Engineering Consultants based in Doha, we are looking for **IT Specialist for our Sister company** with more than 5+ years of experience,

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Technical Support and System Administration**:

- Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain and administer server infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and security.
- Manage network devices and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure reliable network performance.
- **Web Development and Design**:

- Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
- Implement responsive design techniques to ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- **Database Management**:

- Optimize database performance and scalability to accommodate growing user demands.
- Implement backup and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
- **Security and Compliance**:

- Stay updated on security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
- **Collaboration and Project Management**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Manage web development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Communicate project status updates and milestones to relevant stakeholders.
- **User Training and Documentation**:

- Develop user guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service and troubleshooting.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CIW, Zend Certified PHP Engineer) preferred.
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, and web development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end frameworks (PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails).
- Experience with web development frameworks and content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla).
- Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with web security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
