**Description**:
**Doctor/ Company Doctor/ Occupational Health**

A graduate of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a reputed university. With minimum 5 years of experience as a General Practitioner or Primary Health Physician and preferably with experience in managing the primary health care service delivery structure of a medium to large sized construction or engineering firm with various camps or on-site location.

Doha Health Practitioner (DHP/QCHP) license is preferred or should have passed Prometric Examination for GPs and completed Dataflow verification procedures by Ministry of Public Health Qatar.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Supervise the technical and operational aspect of primary health care delivery in a camp and/or site facility with a workforce or capacity of 2,400 but not less than 1,000;
- Conduct medical history and physical examination to camp or site-based staff and labor on out-patient basis;
- Assess, manage and treat various illnesses and other primary health care or first aid concerns of employees in the camp or site clinics;
- Prepare and issue hospital or health care center referrals for patient requiring further management, sick leaves for absences, status reports for accidents to be submitted to appropriate persons;
- Coordinate with HSE Department and the Head Doctor all cases of accidents that either were treated in the clinic or were sent to the hospital for further treatment, and the report the outcome of such treatment;
- Treat and report on injured patients from accidents, provide information as to how, when, where and why such accident happened;
- Refer or conduct follow-up of patients to the hospital or specialty clinics to update about the progress of treatment and any subsequent management.
- Attend to patients during emergency even during off duty hours and holidays to facilitate effective service delivery of health care.
- Prepare monthly census of patients, accident reports and medical expenses to be submitted to the Head Doctor.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety;
- Capability in creating comprehensive reports and other related communication materials to present and defend to management.
- Can work in a team environment and encourage good performance among team members;
- Must be patient, persevering, good initiative, resourceful, perceptive and practical;
- Excellent English communication skills with knowledge of other languages.
