Primary Purpose of the Job:
Technician will be responsible for providing discipline support to Production operations in troubleshooting plant reliability and failures on Mechanical equipment as well as Basic Care activities as per Operations routines Technician will perform scheduled routine preventative and corrective maintenance on all assigned mechanical equipment, under the supervision of the discipline/Campaign Supervisor, in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner to achieve Campaign targets and minimise impact on plant Operations.

Required Experience and Skills:
A minimum of Ten (10) years of relevant experience in oil and gas/petrochemical industry.

Capable of understanding P&ID drawings

Full working and maintenance knowledge of mechanical equipment in hazardous area zone 0, 1 & 2 on process plant and wellheads

Good knowledge in carrying out alignment of rotating equipment, flange/bolt torquing/tensioning and basic rigging/lifting.

Should have a good knowledge of safety practices relating to the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industry.

Good knowledge of English, in both written and spoken.

Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office and SAP **CM**MS**

Educational Qualifications:
Completion of Secondary School education or equivalent followed by relevant trade certificate/diploma.
