Rail Electrification Systems Maintenance Technician

**Job Title: Rail Electrification (REL) Systems Maintenance Technician**
**Location**: Doha, Qatar

We are currently looking for a skilled **Rail Electrification (REL) Systems Maintenance Technician** to join our team in Doha, Qatar, to support the ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of vital Rail Electrification systems.

**Position Overview**:
As a Rail Electrification (REL) Systems Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance of the REL Systems (including 750VDC & 11kV systems) and Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS). This includes working with systems such as UPS, batteries (250VDC), SCADA, and troubleshooting electrical hardware and software issues.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Preventive and Corrective Maintenance**: Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks for 750VDC & 11kV REL systems, including UPS and battery systems (250VDC), as well as the OCS systems under the maintenance section.
- **System Installation & Troubleshooting**: Install hardware, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems within the REL, SCADA, and OCS systems.
- **Data Management**: Transform maintenance data into electronically usable formats for system optimization and reporting.
- **Coaching & Development**: Participate in necessary coaching and assessments to reach expert-level technician capabilities as per the maintenance organization's standards.
- **Staff Support**: Provide assistance to maintenance staff in ensuring the proper functioning of REL, SCADA, and OCS systems.
- **Additional Duties**: Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of 11kV & 750VDC systems, OCS systems, SCADA hardware, and software.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in REL installation, commissioning, or maintenance.
- **Equipment Knowledge**: Familiarity with REL, OCS tools, and equipment.
- **Physical Fitness**: Good physical condition and the ability to meet the requirements for fitness class 1.
- **Driving License**: Valid Qatar light vehicle driving license.
- **CMMS Software**: Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- **Education**: Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
- **Language Skills**: Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- **Age Requirement**: Must be 21 years or older.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
