**Job Opportunity: AI & Data Engineer**:
Job Status: One Year Contract Position (renewable based on mutual interest)
Target Start Date: Immediately

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and define predictive or generative AI solutions.
- Design and develop machine learning models, algorithms, and neural networks for data analysis, prediction, and decision-making.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to train and validate AI models.
- Implement predictive and LLM-based AI solutions using programming languages (such as Python) and machine learning frameworks (such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn).
- Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Deploy AI models into production environments, ensuring stability, reliability, and security.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, and iterate on improvements.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI capabilities into existing or new software systems.
- Document and communicate AI solutions, methodologies, and best practices to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**:

- The applicant should hold a Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in data science / AI projects.
- Very good knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Strong Knowledge of neutral networks-based architectures: CNN, RNN, GAN, RL, etc.
- Strong proficiency in NLP/LLM and the ability to implement NLP techniques effectively.
- Knowledge of Deep learning frameworks: PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, etc.
- Solid hands-on experience in development, debugging, and troubleshooting software and systems.
- Previous experience with some data visualization frameworks and tools: Tableau, D3.js, Google charts, etc.
- Very good Knowledge and experience in Python to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets and build data models.
- Knowledge of geospatial analytics is desirable.
- Prior industrial experience is an asset.
- Capability to work autonomously and effectively in an asynchronous work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and create comprehensive and clear technical documentation.
