As a Ride Maintenance Mechanical Technician at Rota International, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of amusement ride systems. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical components to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on amusement ride systems and associated mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Diagnose and address issues related to ride safety, functionality, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and any modifications to ride systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians to meet daily maintenance goals and deadlines.
- Assist with ride installations and upgrades as needed.
- Respond quickly to ride breakdowns and ensure rapid repairs to minimize downtime.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the amusement, entertainment, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing ride systems and heavy machinery.
- Certifications related to ride maintenance, electrical systems, or mechanical engineering are a plus (e.g., OSHA certifications, hydraulic system certifications).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented attitude.
- Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
