Our client, a business conglomerate in Qatar is recruiting health care staff for their state-of-the-art cardiac center with a capacity of 89 beds in **Libya.**

**Job Description: Operation Room Nurse (CN2)**

**Location: Misrata, Libya**

**Salary : $1,800-$2,200 (6,570.00 (QAR) - 8,030.00 (QAR) ( 10 -12% Tax will be deducted )**

**Joining Flight Ticket: Provided by Company**

**Accommodation and Transportation : Provided by company**

**Annual Vacation : 30 days paid vacation with round trip flight ticket.**

**Job Summary**

The Cath Lab Nurse (CN2) provides safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related interventional cardiology procedures. The role includes assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, monitoring patients’ hemodynamic status, ensuring compliance with international standards, and providing holistic pre
- and post-procedure care.
- **Key Responsibilities Clinical & Procedural Support**_
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures.
- Assist cardiologists during invasive procedures, including angiograms, angioplasty, pacemaker insertion, and related interventions.
- Operate and monitor specialized Cath Lab equipment and devices.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and contrast agents as required.
- Perform sterile techniques and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment.
- Monitor patient vitals, ECG, oxygen saturation, and hemodynamic parameters throughout the procedure.

**Patient Care & Safety**
- Conduct pre-procedure assessments, obtain consents, and educate patients/families about procedures.
- Provide immediate post-procedure nursing care, including monitoring for complications such as bleeding, arrhythmias, or adverse drug reactions.
- Initiate emergency interventions such as CPR or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) when required.
- Document nursing interventions, procedures, and patient outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
- Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and hospital policies.
- **Collaboration & Communication**_
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, radiology technicians, and nursing teams.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.
- Participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- **Job Knowledge & Skills**_
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and cardiac procedures.
- Ability to operate Cath Lab equipment, monitoring systems, and emergency devices.
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (SAP or equivalent preferred).
- **Experience Requirements**_
- Minimum 10 years of total nursing experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Prior experience in GCC or international healthcare facilities (preferred).

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Diploma in Nursing (accepted)
