Finance Officer

**About the role**

You will be responsible to support the Manager Payroll - Finance in ensuring monthly disbursement of QR and other subsidiaries payroll in a consistent manner while being duly compliant with company policy and local law and to ensure timely submission of statutory returns to concern authority.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the preparation of a variety of payroll related documents (e.g. invoices for recharge, retirement plan transfers, payroll register, stop payment, controls, worker’s compensation checks) for the purpose of documenting activities and issues, meeting compliance requirements, and providing audit references.
- Responsible for payroll processing.
- Responsible for reconciliation of accounts balances for the purpose of maintaining accurate account balances and complying with related policies, practices and/or regulations.
- Ensure zero discrepancies of payroll information or documentation for the purpose of ensuring and adherence to procedures prior to processing.
- Compile data from wide variety of sources or the purpose of analyzing issues, ensuring compliance with mandated requirements, verify various payroll related information for the purpose of ensuring accurate distribution of funds and payroll.
- Respond to written and verbal inquires as and when assigned by the Line Manager.
- Assist in implementing accounting procedures for the purpose of providing internal financial controls and ensuring compliance with established accounting practices and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other administrative personnel and outside agencies for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services or programs in accordance with established financial policies, practices or regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

**Qualifications**:
About You
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 4 yrs of job-related experience specifically in accounting
- Payroll and payment processing experience is required
- Oracle ERP knowledge is essential
- Very good command of English language
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of records and information

Preferred
- Knowledge on systems like Navision, MS dynamics, JD Edwards would be added advantage
