We are looking for an experienced Telecom Commissioning Specialist to support offshore commissioning activities on an oil and gas project. The role is responsible for ensuring that all telecom and communication systems are mechanically complete, tested, integrated, and handed over in compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable international standards. Job Responsibilities Support offshore commissioning activities for telecom and communication systems, including: PA/GA systems, Telephone systems, Data and fiber optic networks, CCTV and access control systems, Radio communication systemsVerify mechanical and system completion status and ensure readiness for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handoverReview, manage, and close telecom punch lists in coordination with construction and QA/QC teamsCoordinate with construction, QA/QC, instrumentation, electrical, and commissioning teams to ensure proper work sequencing and interface managementWitness and support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including: Loop checks, Functional testing, System integration and performance testsEnsure telecom systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, vendor documentation, and applicable standardsSupport preparation, review, and completion of commissioning dossiers, test records, and handover documentationParticipate in offshore safety meetings, toolbox talks, and commissioning readiness reviewsMonitor and report commissioning progress, risks, and technical issues to the Commissioning Lead and Project Management TeamEnsure full compliance with offshore HSE requirements and safe work practicesKey Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalentMinimum 10 years of experience in offshore oil and gas projectsStrong background in telecom installation and commissioning activitiesHands-on experience with: PA/GA systems, CCTV and access control systems, Fiber optic systems, Radio communication systems, Data and structured cabling networksGood understanding of offshore commissioning processes and mechanical completion systemsAbility to work offshore on a rotational basisStrong coordination, communication, and interface management skillsGood knowledge of offshore HSE regulations and practicesPrevious experience as a Telecom Commissioning Specialist/Engineer on EPC offshore projects (Preferred)Experience working on offshore platforms, jackets, modules, and topsides (Preferred)Familiarity with commissioning databases and handover management systems (Preferred)VERTICALENGINEERING
