Job Description:

Royal Consulting Engineers is seeking a qualified and experienced
Mechanical Inspector
to join our supervision team for ongoing infrastructure and building projects across Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical works are executed in accordance with
project specifications, QCS 2014, and international standards
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor
    mechanical works
    including
    HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and drainage systems
    .
  • Review and verify
    Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)
    ,
    Work Inspection Requests (WIRs)
    , and
    Testing & Commissioning
    documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with
    QCS 2014
    ,
    ASHRAE
    ,
    NFPA
    , and
    SMACNA
    standards.
  • Witness and document mechanical
    testing, commissioning, and inspection activities
    .
  • Coordinate with
    QA/QC teams, contractors, and local authorities
    (QCDD, KAHRAMAA, Municipality) for inspection approvals.
  • Identify
    non-conformities
    , issue reports, and follow up on
    corrective actions
    .
  • Maintain proper
    records and documentation
    for all mechanical quality activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
    in construction supervision or QA/QC inspection (consultant background preferred).
  • UPDA Certified (Mechanical)
    –
    Mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of
    QCS 2014
    ,
    ASHRAE
    ,
    NFPA
    , and
    ISO 9001
    standards.
  • Excellent communication, inspection, and reporting skills.
  • Must be
    available in Qatar
    with valid
    transferable visa/NOC
    .
