We are hiring an experienced Project Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor (QS) with a strong background in road works. The ideal candidate will manage project execution, site coordination, cost control, and quantity surveying functions. This role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive industry experience and strong technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily project activities related to road works and civil infrastructure.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, material calculations, and cost estimates.
  • Conduct accurate site measurements and verify subcontractor works and invoices.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for inspections, approvals, and progress updates.
  • Assist in preparing method statements, work schedules, technical submissions, and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Support procurement activities and provide technical inputs as required.
  • Monitor project milestones and provide regular updates to management.

Required Qualifications & Criteria

  • Previous Road Works experience – Minimum 10 years (Mandatory)
  • Valid Qatari Driving License – Mandatory
  • Relevant Engineering Degree (Civil Engineering preferred)
  • Strong experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QS/estimation software.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
