Qualifications:

* Transport Planning Engineer with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
*Minimum of 10 years of experience in transport planning and using Qatar's Strategic Transport Model.
* Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Job Description:

* Responsible for updating the State of Qatar's Transport Model, ensuring high international standards for both road and public transport networks.
* Use the model to prepare and prioritize preliminary transport plans based on administrative requirements.
* Review and assess project feasibility referred by the department director.
* Utilize the model for preparing traffic policies such as integrated public transport and demand management procedures.
* Manage public transport network projects and assist in preparing terms of reference for development projects.
* Supervise consultants and contractors daily, monitor progress, and prepare periodic performance reports.
