QA/QC Engineer

A qualified QA/QC Engineer with 5+ years of proven experience in the construction industry, preferably within fit-out and exhibition projects. The role requires strong technical expertise in quality assurance and control processes, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to ensure that all materials, workmanship, and installations meet project specifications and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and implement QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans (ITPs), and method statements in accordance with project requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of materials, installations, and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Review and verify technical submittals, including materials, samples, and mock-ups.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants on quality-related issues and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation, checklists, and inspection logs for traceability and reporting.
  • Support the project team in achieving and maintaining high-quality standards throughout project execution.
  • Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
  • Provide feedback and technical recommendations to enhance overall project quality and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in QA/QC within fit-out, interior, or exhibition projects.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, inspection methods, and construction materials.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working collaboratively across teams.
