Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
QA/QC Engineer – Steel Structure
for our
project
. The candidate shall be responsible for ensuring full compliance with
Oil & Gas standards , QCS, and international standards
related to steel structure fabrication and erection works.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in
  Civil / Mechanical Engineering
  .
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience
  in
  steel structure fabrication and erection
  (mandatory as per QE requirements).
• Minimum
  5 years experience in Qatar
  , preferably on
  Oil & Gas projects
  .
• Strong knowledge of:
• QE specifications and approval procedures
• QCS 2014 / latest
• AISC, AWS D1.1, BS EN standards
• Hands-on experience in:
• Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
• Welding inspection (WPS / PQR / NDT)
• Bolt tightening, alignment, and dimensional control
• Painting & coating inspections (DFT, surface preparation)
• ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems knowledge.
• Experience in handling
  NCRs, CARs
  , and quality audits.
• Ability to coordinate with
  QE, Consultant, and Client inspectors
  .

Preferred Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.2.2 or 3.2.1/ AWS Welding Inspector certification.
• NACE / BGAS Painting Inspector certification (advantage).
• QE-approved QA/QC Engineer (highly preferred).
• Valid
  QID
  with immediate or short joining availability is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Implement project quality requirements in line with standards.
• Conduct inspections at fabrication yards and construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, ITPs, and method statements.
• Maintain quality documentation and final handover dossiers.
• Support audits and inspections and third parties inspections.
