JobOpenings – Qatar ​ Spray Painter (Shipwright Department) Job Location: Qatar Duty Hours: 8 Hours per day Age Limit: Below 40 Years Gender: Male Only Muslim Candidate No. Position – 3 Duty Hours: Standard Eight (08) Hours /26 days Salary: QAR 1,570 permonth Job Overview:The Spray Painter (Shipwright Department) will be responsible for preparingand painting surfaces of ships, machinery, and metal structures using spraypainting techniques. The role involves surface preparation, paint mixing,application of coatings, and ensuring the highest standards of quality andfinish. The candidate must have hands -on experience in industrial or marinepainting within the shipyard or heavy fabrication environment.Job Role& Responsibilities:· Perform surface preparation including cleaning,sanding, masking, and priming before painting.· Mix paints and coatings according tomanufacturer specifications and project requirements.· Apply primers, intermediate, and finishing coatsusing airless or conventional spray systems.· Inspect painted surfaces for uniform coverage,color accuracy, and finish quality.· Follow proper procedures for surface protectionand paint curing.· Operate and maintain spray painting equipmentand tools safely.· Ensure all paint materials are stored andhandled properly following safety regulations.· Maintain a clean and safe work area at alltimes.· Work closely with supervisors and team membersto meet production and quality targets.· Comply with company health, safety, andenvironmental (HSE) policies during all activities. RequirementsQualifications & Experience:· Education: ITI / Diploma or equivalent technicalqualification.· Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of experience inspray painting within shipyard, industrial, or fabrication environments.· Gulf experience preferred.· Familiarity with marine coatings, epoxy,polyurethane, and anti -corrosive paints is essential.RequiredSkills:· Proficiency in airless and conventional spraypainting techniques.· Good knowledge of surface preparation methodsand paint systems.· Ability to achieve smooth, uniform finishes withattention to detail.· Understanding of safety standards for handlingpaints, solvents, and equipment.· Team -oriented and able to follow instructionsaccurately.· Physically fit to perform painting tasks inconfined spaces or at heights when required.· Basic English communication required; Arabic isan advantage.
