Job Summary:

Jascon Engineering W.L.L is seeking a qualified and proactive SHES Officer to join our team for ongoing projects in the Oil & Gas sector at Ras Laffan. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior Ras Laffan project experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
  • Organize and lead HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE performance and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture through engagement and communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certifications required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HSE Officer in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior Ras Laffan project experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
