Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Accounting & Reporting Consulting practice. In this role, you will work closely with clients across diverse industries, delivering high-quality accounting advisory and financial reporting solutions. You will engage with senior stakeholders, collaborate with Partners and Directors, mentor team members, and contribute to ongoing business development and practice growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
  • Manage key client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee project planning, delivery, and quality across multiple engagements.
  • Provide technical accounting advisory on complex matters and prepare technical research memos.
  • Guide clients in implementing new accounting standards and frameworks.
  • Support clients with financial reporting, including preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Analyse financial information and offer recommendations to enhance reporting quality and compliance.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop junior team members.
  • Stay updated on emerging accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
  • Apply sound professional judgment in interpreting and applying accounting standards to client scenarios.
  • Manage competing deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

We are looking for strong accounting professionals passionate about delivering advisory services across technical accounting matters, including GAAP conversions, accounting policy development, implementation of new standards (end-to-end), and IFRS/US GAAP disclosure support. The role involves working with leading regional and international clients across a wide range of sectors.

  • Strong expertise in accounting, project management, business development, and people leadership.
  • Solid understanding of core accounting concepts and ability to apply standards to moderately complex and complex client situations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel when required.
  • Proven analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations, tight deadlines, and demanding client environments.
  • High integrity, strong professional values, and the ability to lead by example.

Qualifications

  • Qualified CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, or advisory within consulting or professional services.
