Job Description:

Rota International is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will support daily kitchen operations, maintain cleanliness, and assist chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and hygienic working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas, and equipment at all times
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools
• Assist kitchen staff with basic preparation tasks when required
• Ensure waste is disposed of properly and recycling procedures are followed
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas
• Receive, unpack, and store deliveries properly
• Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
• Support chefs and team members during peak hours

Requirements:

• Must speak Hindi (required for daily communication)
• Previous experience as a kitchen porter or steward preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed
• Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards
