Duties And ResponsibilitiesPurpose
The transportation coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day local transportation requirements of Oceaneering efficiently and cost-effectively. To provide secure and timely driving services to transport passengers and/or goods required by the projects.
Functions
ESSENTIAL
Logistics
Coordinate and organize the day-to-day movements of driversFacilitate the repairs, when necessary, of all company vehicles, with recognized dealers/workshop in line with legal and administrative procedures.Maintain efficient administration and utilization of all Company vehicles.Contribute to the analytical study of transport utilization by minimizing the use of 3rd party drivers.Proactively communicate with SE Operations Coordinators / Operations Manager on all local transportation requirements of a project to plan logistical schedule and activities in advance.Promote safe driving practices to all drivers.Driving
Take instructions from Operations coordinators regarding each day's deliveries or pick / drop servicesPick and drop company employees from /to desired destinations as per Operations coordinators' instructionsMake deliveries by maintaining correct knowledge of destinations and concerned contactsEnsure punctuality and safe transportKeep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenanceReport any case of accident, injury or damage of vehicles to the supervisor or managerShould have sufficient knowledge of traffic laws and hold fast entirely to them.Facilitate airport pick upsCar Security and Maintenance
Ensure all vehicles are kept clean, tidy and in good working condition at all times.Ensure vehicles are kept secure at all timesEnsure vehicles are given regular/day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc.Ensure vehicle repairs are carried out properly by official manufacturers specifications.Perform minor repairs and arrange for other repairs, prepare vehicle spare parts inventoryPrepare and submit vehicle monitoring report, including records of vehicle operations, maintenance, expenses, mileage, at end of each month.QualificationsESSENTIAL
