Job Purpose Summary

The
Manager – Procurement Performance
is responsible for managing the calculation and analysis of procurement KPIs, supporting performance monitoring, and enabling effective reporting across the organization. This includes consolidating procurement data, developing dashboards, maintaining supplier performance metrics, and ensuring accurate reporting for decision-making. The role also involves supporting supplier panel register maintenance, IT tool enhancements, and preparing communication materials, reports, and ad-hoc analyses.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Performance & Reporting

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Procurement KPI dashboards aligned with the VP of Supplier Relationship Management & Procurement Performance.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates.
  • Analyze procurement performance both quantitatively and qualitatively, identifying trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Consolidate team feedback and provide performance insights for management review.
  • Prepare KPI reports, dashboards, and communication materials for quarterly reviews, team meetings, and executive updates.
  • Support the definition and execution of procurement action plans and monitor KPI evolution.

Data Management & Analysis

  • Extract, cleanse, and analyze data to generate meaningful insights and performance reports.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by preparing ad-hoc analyses and business reviews.
  • Maintain supplier panel databases, including administrative activities related to vendor additions/removals.
  • Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to define and enhance specifications for Procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, Power BI).

Stakeholder Management

  • Provide timely support to internal stakeholders on procurement requests, data needs, and reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, auditors, compliance, finance, and risk functions.
  • Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and continuous improvement in turnaround time.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure alignment with Group Procurement policies and procedures.
  • Comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance standards (including AML, sanctions, and data protection).
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive procurement data.
  • Support the Operational Risk framework through RCSA, incident reporting, and KPI monitoring.

Learning & Development

  • Stay updated with procurement best practices, analytics tools, and industry standards.
  • Proactively identify areas for professional growth and undertake relevant training.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing within the Procurement team.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
    in Data Analysis, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years
    of relevant experience in procurement analytics, performance management, or supplier relationship management — preferably within a major international bank.
  • Proven expertise in data analytics, reporting, and procurement systems.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities in
    English (Arabic preferred)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Sound understanding of procurement laws, policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • High attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
