We're seeking looking for a versatile and creative individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer / Animator / Motion Graphics Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in static graphic design principles combined with exceptional skills in 2D and 3D motion graphics and animation. This role is crucial for elevating our brand's visual storytelling across all digital platforms, from social media to product videos.

Key Responsibilities

Motion & Animation:

  • Conceptualize, design, and create high-quality 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations for a variety of media, including:
  • Social media video content (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
  • Website and app animations (e.g., UI/UX motion).
  • Explainer videos, product demos, and animated tutorials.
  • Title sequences, lower thirds, and on-screen graphics for video projects.
  • Develop storyboards and animatics to effectively visualize and communicate complex concepts before production.
  • Source, edit, and synchronize appropriate sound effects, music, and voiceovers to enhance the final motion piece.
  • Optimize and render final video files for different platforms and technical specifications.

Graphic Design & Video Editing:

  • Design compelling static graphics for digital and print, including ads, presentations, white papers, and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Perform video editing, color correction, and post-production tasks as needed for various campaigns.
  • Maintain an organized library of graphic assets, templates, and animated elements.

Collaboration & Brand Alignment:

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Product, and/or Content teams to understand project objectives and deliver creative solutions.
  • Ensure all visual content adheres strictly to our brand guidelines, style, and visual identity.
  • Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions and provide constructive input on design projects.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Portfolio:
    A strong online portfolio or demo reel showcasing exceptional work in both motion graphics and static graphic design.
  • Experience:
    5+ years of professional experience in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Software Proficiency:
    Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including:
  • Adobe After Effects
    (Essential for Motion Graphics).
  • Adobe Illustrator
    (Essential for Design and Asset Creation).
  • Adobe Photoshop
    (Essential for Image Editing).
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
    (Strong Video Editing skills).
  • Motion Skills:
    Proficiency in 2D animation techniques. Experience with 3D software like Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya is a significant plus.
  • Design Fundamentals:
    Deep understanding of design principles, typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and receive constructive feedback.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience designing for Retail a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira).
  • Knowledge of video production/lighting/audio recording is a bonus.
