Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Joinery Production Drawing Draftsman to prepare detailed shop drawings for joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of joinery construction, materials, and production methods, and be able to coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, and factory teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed production/shop drawings for joinery items such as doors, cabinets, wardrobes, counters, wall panels, and custom furniture.
  • Interpret architectural and interior design drawings and convert them into accurate joinery drawings.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and factory supervisors to ensure drawings meet project and production requirements.
  • Revise drawings based on client, consultant, and site feedback.
  • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, industry standards, and company quality requirements.
  • Prepare cutting lists, material specifications, and assembly details.
  • Support factory production and site installation teams with technical clarifications.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in joinery shop drawing and production detailing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D software like SketchUp or SolidWorks is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, hardware, and finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and fit-out drawings accurately.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Experience in GCC projects (especially mall, hotel, office, and residential fit-outs) is preferred.
