Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented AV Technician to join our prestigious luxury hotel team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless setup, operation, and maintenance of all audio-visual systems across our event venues, meeting spaces, and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment including sound systems, projectors, LED screens, lighting, and conferencing systems.
  • Provide technical support for meetings, conferences, events, and hotel functions.
  • Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and equipment testing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with the Events, IT, and Banqueting teams for smooth event delivery.
  • Assist internal and external clients with AV requirements, ensuring high service standards.
  • Maintain inventory of AV equipment and report any damages or technical issues.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an AV Technician, preferably in luxury hospitality or events.
  • Strong knowledge of professional sound systems, lighting control, and video conferencing tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot quickly and work under pressure during live events.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules.
