Senior Accountant
 to join our growing team and manage the company's financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Summary:

The 
Senior Accountant
 will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, managing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and Qatar financial regulations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in 
carpentry or production-related financial management
 and be highly skilled in using 
Zoho Accounting Software
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Maintain cost accounting for 
    carpentry, fabrication, and event production projects
    .
  • Monitor project budgets, cost allocations, and ensure proper financial control.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and petty cash transactions.
  • Prepare and submit VAT, payroll, and other statutory filings as per Qatar regulations.
  • Generate management reports and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to track material costs and project expenses.
  • Liaise with auditors, suppliers, and financial institutions when required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and local laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
     (CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification preferred).
  • Minimum 
    5 years of accounting experience
    , including at least 
    2 years in a senior role
    .
  • Experience in carpentry, joinery, or event production companies
     is mandatory.
  • Proficient in Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting System
    .
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar's accounting and tax regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in 
    Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
    .
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be 
    based in Qatar
     with 
    valid transferable visa / NOC
    .
