Description An AV Supervisor manages the audiovisual team and systems for events, productions, and daily operations, overseeing equipment setup, operation, and maintenance

Key Responsibilities Technical Oversight:
  • Supervise the setup, operation, and dismantling of AV equipment, including sound, video, projection, and lighting. 
  • Provide senior-level technical support, troubleshoot and resolve complex audio-visual issues during live events. 
  • Ensure all AV systems and equipment are functioning correctly and maintained. 
Team Management:
  • Coordinate resources to meet event technical support needs and foster a positive team environment. 
  • Support in IT Support Operation in day day-to-day basis, AV being part of the IT Team.

  • Handel IT & AV Guest request on the floor. 
Client & Event Coordination:
  • Collaborate with event organizers, clients, and other internal teams to understand and meet AV requirements. 
  • Develop and implement AV solutions for a successful guest experience. 
Equipment & Inventory Management:
  • Monitor, track, and manage the inventory, storage, and proper use of AV equipment and other resources. 
  • Maintain records of equipment usage and maintenance needs. 
Administration & Compliance:
  • Assist with AV budgeting, procurement, and vendor coordination. 
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, report any incidents, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. 
Technology & Innovation:
  • Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and recommend improvements or implementations of new systems. Skills & Qualifications 
    • Strong technical knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment.
    • Proven leadership and team supervision experience.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience with event planning and technical coordination.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • An associate's degree or certification in AV technology or a related field is often required.
