Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Network Security Engineer based in Doha, Qatar. Responsibilities include managing and securing network infrastructure, identifying and mitigating security risks, implementing and maintaining security protocols, and ensuring network compliance with industry standards and practices. The role also involves monitoring network performance, diagnosing connectivity issues, and providing technical support for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Network Administration and Network Engineering
  • Proficiency in Network Security and Cybersecurity practices
  • Strong knowledge of Information Security principles and tools
  • Experience with troubleshooting network and system performance
  • Familiarity with industry-standard security protocols and compliance requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CEH, or CISSP are preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic work environment
