Overview:

UNII consultant, a leading name in the construction and design sector in Qatar, is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our engineering department. This role is essential for designing, developing, and enhancing electrical systems and components in our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles and a track record of innovation in construction-related electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

· Design and develop electrical systems for construction projects, including power distribution, low current systems (such as security, CCTV, fire alarms, and data networks), lighting, and other electrical services.

· Utilize CAD software for designing electrical components and systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Project Coordination:

· Collaborate with project teams, including architects, civil engineers, and mechanical engineers, to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.

Analysis and Problem-Solving:

· Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for electrical systems.

· Identify and troubleshoot design issues, providing innovative solutions to ensure project objectives are met.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

· Ensure all electrical engineering projects comply with applicable codes, standards, and best practices, including Qatar's regulations such as those from KAHRAMAA.

· Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, conducting quality assurance checks to ensure operational efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design files, calculations, and reports.

· Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on the status of electrical engineering activities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (7 to 10 years experience).

· Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction or design industry, with a focus on power distribution, low current systems, and familiarity with Qatar's electrical regulations.

· Strong proficiency in CAD, REVIT software and engineering design tools.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

· Familiarity with construction industry standards, codes, and safety practices.

· UPDA Certificate.

· ASHGHAL/KAHRAMAA projects experience (Preferred).

· Airport projects experience is a plus.
