Architectural Draftsan

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will prepare high-quality architectural drawings, support design teams, and ensure all documentation complies with project and regulatory standards. Strong CAD drafting skills and knowledge of architectural details are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details) using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Convert sketches and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Revise, update, and maintain drawing sets based on engineer/architect feedback.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure drawing compatibility.
• Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and local authority requirements (e.g., Ashghal, Civil Defense, Municipality).
• Maintain CAD standards, drawing files, and documentation.
• Assist in material schedules, layouts, and project detailing when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Drafting / Architecture / CAD Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman (Qatar/GCC experience preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or BIM tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, finishes, and construction methods.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• UPDA is a plus.
