Site Architect

We are looking for a Architect who is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating architectural shop drawings and technical documentation in alignment with project requirements, design intent, and construction standards. The role involves translating design concepts and IFC drawings into accurate, coordinated, and buildable documentation, with a specific focus on interior architecture, stone/marble works, and multidisciplinary design integration. The Architect collaborates with consultants, subcontractors and site teams to ensure design integrity, technical precision, and timely project execution.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Architectural Design Documentation & Shop Drawing Review

• Prepare, review, and refine architectural shop drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications, IFC documentation, and design intent.
• Translate approved design concepts and IFC drawings into accurate, coordinated, and constructible architectural documentation.

2. Cross-Disciplinary Coordination

• Align architectural, structural, MEP and electrical drawings to ensure full design coordination.
• Incorporate revisions, site adjustments, and client feedback with precision and efficiency.

3. Stone, Marble & Specialist Material Coordination

• Review and coordinate shop drawings specifically related to marble, stone, and other specialist architectural scopes, ensuring compatibility with adjacent trades.
• Prepare and review cutting lists, layouts, and quantity requirements for stone/marble works to support factory production and site installation.

4. Collaborate with Project Stakeholders

• Liaise with Technical team, engineers, site teams and ensure technical alignment across the project lifecycle.
• Recommend adaptations or modifications to design details to ensure constructability and compliance with project constraints.

5. Manage Design Submissions and Approvals

• Prepare and submit design proposals, shop drawings and proposals in accordance with project requirements.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and secure design approvals within project timelines.

6. Conduct Site Coordination and Verification

• Perform site inspections, measurements, and surveys to validate existing conditions.
• Integrate site data into design documentation to ensure construction feasibility.

7. Develop Project Documentation and Reports

• Maintain organized drawing records, reports, and specifications per documentation protocols.
• Provide timely updates and revisions to support the Technical Manager and project teams.

8. Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Verify that all drawings comply with codes, regulations, and company drafting standards.
• Apply quality control measures to ensure clarity, consistency, and precision across deliverables.

9. Quantity Take-Offs & Material Coordination

• Generate quantity take-offs for stone, marble, and architectural finishes, supporting procurement and cost-control teams.
• Provide technical data to support estimation, procurement, and cost control processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive professional experience as an Architect within design or construction environments, with demonstrated involvement in medium to large-scale projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong command of architectural drafting standards, detailing practices, and documentation workflows.
• Comprehensive knowledge of architectural detailing, construction materials, finishing systems, and technical design standards across diverse project typologies.
• Strong design sensibility, with refined understanding of spatial planning, proportions, aesthetics, and clarity in architectural representation.
• Proven ability to develop, review, and refine Issued for Construction (IFC) architectural packages, ensuring alignment with regulatory codes, consultant requirements, design intent, and constructability.
• Excellent architectural drawing capability, visual communication skills, and strong coordination competencies across multidisciplinary teams.
