Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the Ras Laffan Project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within the oil and gas sector, with the ability to oversee site activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and support construction execution efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor all site mechanical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
  • Review project drawings, technical specifications, and work procedures related to mechanical activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams for timely completion of site work.
  • Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Prepare site reports, monitor progress, and escalate potential issues or delays to management.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure PPE usage by all site personnel.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in oil and gas projects.
  • Certification: Relevant mechanical/engineering certifications will be an advantage.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Nationality: Open to all nationalities
