About the role:

Responsible to implement food safety standard in the industry and work with team to establish a robust system which will be internationally certified through an accredited body. Implement processes and procedures in tandem with all departments and hold all required documents for timely review.

Key accountabilities for the role include:

  • Work towards implementing an effective HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plan with complete SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and PRPs (Pre-Requisite Programs) to implement a robust Food safety Management system in line with international standards.
  • Compare SOPs with current work flows and make it easy to understand and implement by different sections. Responsible for documentation and storage of all SOP and Manuals which is an integral part of any external audit to confirm a robust and active system is in place.
  • Represent Management & QA during customer Audit to justify implementation of SOPs as per process flow. Conduct supplier audits to ensure supplier understands and improves Food Safety Standard to the requirement of QACC.
  • Achieve ISO certification by conducting GAP analysis audit to identify lapse in the current process and the system implemented.
  • Work towards improving SOPs based on the changes in work process after proper analysis of the impact on Food Safety.
  • Form a Food Safety Team from various sections who will be responsible for closing the gaps and build a robust system which can be certified by an external body.
  • Provide training to upgrade information and awareness on the Food Safety System.
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

About you:

High School Qualification with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Certified as Lead Auditor and ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
  • Should be excellent in IT Skills MS Office for handling excel, word and power point presentation Good spoken and written English.
